Rape Assistance and Awareness Program (RAAP)

The Rape Assistance and Awareness Program (RAAP--pronounced “rap”) is the only rape crisis center serving metro-Denver. RAAP’s mission is to eliminate sexual violence. In addition to providing a wide range of victim services, RAAP is a leader in educating the public about preventing sexual violence. Organized in 1983 as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, RAAP has since served over 500,000 individuals.

  • Hotline Volunteer: Be the first point of contact of those affected by sexual assault

  • Hospital Advocate: Respond to the hospital and advocate for the survivor
  • Prevention Education: Step inside classrooms to spread awareness of sexual assault
  • Development Volunteer: Help with grants, outreach, and research for Denver’s only Rape Crisis Center
  • Your Specialty: How do you feel you can help us?
  • General: Administrative duties; data entry; manual labor
