Volunteer OpportunitiesFind out ways you can combat sexual violence in Denver Rape Assistance and Awareness Program (RAAP) The Rape Assistance and Awareness Program (RAAP--pronounced “rap”) is the only rape crisis center serving metro-Denver. RAAP’s mission is to eliminate sexual violence. In addition to providing a wide range of victim services, RAAP is a leader in educating the public about preventing sexual violence. Organized in 1983 as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, RAAP has since served over 500,000 individuals.
